Terms and Conditions
01. RETAINER & BOOKING
A non-refundable retainer of is required to secure your wedding date. This retainer will be applied toward the
total balance due. Your date is not confirmed until the retainer is received and this agreement is signed by both parties.
02. FINAL PAYMENT
Final payment is due in full no later than 6 weeks prior to the wedding date. Failure to submit final payment by the due date
may result in cancellation of services at the Artist's discretion.
03. CANCELLATION BY CLIENT
All retainer payments are non-refundable. If the Client cancels within 90 days of the wedding date, 50% of the remaining
balance is due. Cancellations within 30 days of the wedding date require payment of the full contracted amount.
04. CANCELLATION BY ARTIST
In the unlikely event any hair and/or makeup artist(s) are unable to fulfill their commitment due to illness, emergency, or
circumstances beyond our control, Studio Standard Beauty will make every effort to provide a qualified replacement artist. If
no replacement is available, all payments received will be refunded in full. This constitutes the limit of our liability.
05. SERVICE MINIMUM
A minimum booking fee applies for parties requiring fewer than 7 services per artist on the wedding date. This fee is
calculated at the time of booking and included in the total above.
06. TRAVEL, PARKING & ACCOMMODATION
Travel and parking fees are the responsibility of the Client and will be assessed based on the getting-ready location. For
weddings located 2 or more hours from Chicago, overnight accommodation for the Artist(s) is required and arranged at the
Client's expense. All applicable fees are itemized in Section 02 above.
07. EARLY MORNING FEE
Services or travel beginning before 7:00am are subject to an additional early morning fee per artist. This fee is reflected in
the total above.
08. TIMELINE & COOPERATION
The Client agrees to provide a finalized wedding morning timeline no later than 4 weeks prior to the wedding date. Studio
Standard Beauty will prepare a service schedule based on party size and agreed start time. We ask that all members of the
bridal party be available and ready at their scheduled times. Delays caused by late arrivals may result in abbreviated
services or additional fees. If coordination with other vendors is required, the Client must provide the name and contact
information for each relevant vendor no later than 4 weeks prior to the wedding date.
09. CONDUCT & ENVIRONMENT
The Client agrees to provide a clean, well-lit, and comfortable working space for the Artist. Excessive noise, intoxicated
behavior, or environments deemed unsafe may result in the Artist discontinuing services without refund. Studio Standard
Beauty reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who is disrespectful or abusive toward our team.
10. ALLERGIES & SKIN CONDITIONS
It is the Client's responsibility to inform Studio Standard Beauty of any known allergies, skin sensitivities, or medical
conditions prior to the appointment. Studio Standard Beauty is not liable for reactions resulting from undisclosed conditions.
A patch test may be requested prior to the wedding day if needed.
11. PHOTOGRAPHY & SOCIAL MEDIA
Studio Standard Beauty reserves the right to photograph and/or video the completed work for use on our website, social
media, and marketing materials, unless the Client requests otherwise in writing. Client photos will never be sold to third
parties. Client can opt out of photography/social media use.
12. COMMUNICATION
All communication regarding this agreement, including questions, changes, cancellations, and vendor coordination, must be
directed to Studio Standard Beauty at contact@studiostandardbeauty.com. This ensures all requests are received,
documented, and responded to in a timely manner.
13. CHANGES TO SERVICES
Any additions or changes to the booked services must be requested in writing and confirmed by Studio Standard Beauty.
Changes are subject to availability and may affect the total price. Additions within 6 weeks of the wedding date must be paid
in full at time of confirmed request. Reductions in services within 90 days of the wedding date do not reduce the contracted
total.
